Our housing initiatives prioritize equity-deserving groups, including Black, Indigenous, and newcomer communities. We offer a mix of deeply affordable and market-rate units, with 40% of units priced under $600/month.

Who can apply to live in an Inuka Community home?
Anyone with low to moderate income can apply. We prioritize families and individuals from equity-deserving groups, including newcomers, refugees, Black and racialized families, and those on EIA or other forms of social assistance.
What types of units are available?
We offer a mix of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. A portion of all units are designated as deeply affordable social housing.
What does “deeply affordable housing” mean?
Social housing units are offered at significantly reduced rent starting under $600/month, made possible through public and philanthropic investment. Rent is based on income and geared toward long-term affordability.
Do I have to be working to qualify for housing?
No. Many of our residents will be people receiving EIA, CPP, or other forms of income support. Our goal is to provide stability regardless of employment status, while helping those who want to find work or training to do so.

Can I join support programs before moving in?
NO – Currently there are no support programs.
The pilot support program has concluded and the continuing support programs will be available for tenants only.
What kind of support is offered after I move in?
Available support is based on income; examples: Rent Geared to Income (GRI), Upskilling and employment support among others.
How long is the waitlist?
This being a new build, the waitlist will be based on demand when the building is occupied.
